About Tabitha

Mental health has never been just a profession for me—it’s personal. Long before I ever stepped into a clinical setting, I was drawn to the quiet, often invisible battles people fought behind closed doors. Growing up in a community where mental health was misunderstood or pushed aside, I saw firsthand the toll it took on individuals and families. That early exposure planted the seed for the work I do today.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I specialize in treating a full spectrum of psychiatric conditions across the lifespan—with a deep focus on autism, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, and co-occurring conditions. But more than any diagnosis, I treat people—each with their own history, complexity, and capacity for healing.

My approach is grounded in compassionate clinical care, evidence-based treatment, and a fierce commitment to meeting patients exactly where they are. I bring a trauma-informed, person-centered lens to everything I do, combining pharmacological interventions with therapeutic support, psychoeducation, and a strong collaborative ethos. Whether I’m managing medication, offering brief therapeutic interventions, or coordinating care with other providers, my goal is always to honor the full humanity of my patients.

One of my core strengths is building trust with individuals who have been let down by the system. I work especially well with patients who are hesitant about medication or who have experienced stigma in previous mental health settings. My clinical intuition—shaped by both training and lived experience—allows me to listen deeply, ask the right questions, and guide patients toward sustainable, authentic progress.

I am especially passionate about serving marginalized communities, neurodivergent individuals, and those navigating complex trauma. My work is not just about symptom management—it’s about empowerment, connection, and helping people reclaim a sense of agency in their lives.

Outside of clinical practice, I stay engaged with continuing education, and find grounding in nature, family, and creative expression. These personal anchors remind me that healing isn’t linear—and that it looks different for everyone.

Mental health care should never feel clinical or cold. In my work, I strive to offer something warmer: a steady hand, an open mind, and a space where people can come as they are and be met with dignity, curiosity, and care.

I am currently accepting new clients between ages 5 and 55. I look forward to being part of your journey!
